A little bit about me
Hello there! Thank you for visiting my personal page :)
I am currently in the second year of my PhD at the Department of Computing Sciences of Bocconi University and doing research in the field of Computational Neuroscience.
Current research
I am working with Prof. Nicolas Brunel and Dr. Marco Benedetti on generalised Hopfield Networks, with the aim to understand how learning occurs in the human brain.
In particular, we would like to implement a biologically inferred learning rule in a rate model with attractor dynamics.
Reaserch interests
I am interested in computational neuroscience, machine and biological learning, statistical physics and complex systems.
What I am learning about at the moment
I am following two courses:
Medical Neuroscience on Coursera. This is course about neurobiology and neuroanatonomy, useful for who has no biological background but wants to eneter the field of neuroscience.
Fundamentals of Statistics on edx. It is an introductory course to Statistics. Having a very theoretical background, I do not know what a p value is!
