A little bit about me

Hello there! Thank you for visiting my personal page :)

I am currently in the second year of my PhD at the Department of Computing Sciences of Bocconi University and doing research in the field of Computational Neuroscience.

Current research

I am working with Prof. Nicolas Brunel and Dr. Marco Benedetti on generalised Hopfield Networks, with the aim to understand how learning occurs in the human brain.

In particular, we would like to implement a biologically inferred learning rule in a rate model with attractor dynamics.

Reaserch interests

I am interested in computational neuroscience, machine and biological learning, statistical physics and complex systems.

What I am learning about at the moment

I am following two courses:

  • Computational Neuroscience: Neuronal Dynamics of Cognition on edX. Having a background in statistical physics, I am following this course in order to pursue my reaserch in the field of neuroscience. I strongly suggest this course for anyone interested in understanding how neuroscientist make quantative models of how the brain learns!

  • MPAGS - High Performance Computing in Julia on YouTube. It is a course on the programming language Julia and it is directed towards researchers like me! I also recommend this course for anyone who wants to upgrade their Julia skills.

Where you might find me in the future

I will be attending the imbizo summer school in Cape Town in January 2026.
